The Montello Public Library is the heart of the city of Montello.  We are a lifelong learning institute that empowers people with materials, services, and a welcoming staff.  We also add an economic boom to downtown Montello, as many of our partners (patrons and community players) frequent local businesses. It is our mission to assist all of our partners with their educational, recreational, and cultural needs.  Today we circulate more than 55,600 items annually.  Come visit us today!

Display Case Collections Needed for April through December

We are looking for collections of items that can be displayed in our display case (purchased by the Friends of the Montello Public Library).  Collections are displayed each month, and can showcase just about anything!  If you have  collectible items, handmade things, information about a person, place or animal - see Andrea for details and approval of your collection.

We currently have openings for April through December.
