Thanks to all who came in and participated in our National Library Week festivities last week.  I am so happy that the events were enjoyed and I got a lot of great feedback from all of you in my search to find out why we all love our library!  The responses were diverse and some were unexpected. In every case, however, I was humbled and proud of us and I am proud of each and every one of YOU who sees the value and importance of supporting your library. Thank you all again so much.

National Library Week - Stop in!

Come in and join us at the Montello Library for activities all week long for National Library Week! Can you guess how many books are in our library? Closest guess will win a prize. Let us know why you love the library and be entered into a drawing. Kids come on in and pick up your Culver's drawing sheet, and celebrate your favorite book by drawing a picture about it. Give your completed drawing sheet to the librarian, and you'll win a certificate for a FREE single scoop of Culver's Frozen Custard. Prizes for the best completed coloring sheets by age group and grand prizes will be awarded!

Local folks to present a program for the summer library program this summer! If you have a talent, activity/craft, or project that we could add to our summer library program event schedule, please contact me! I am looking for individuals who will share their activity with our group. We would meet, hopefully, one afternoon each week from June 22 through July 24 for a 45 minute to an hour. All ages attend, so keep that in mind too.
