Beneath The Surface
Teen Read Summer Library Program
@ Montello Public Library
Greetings! We are glad you are joining us for Montello Public Library’s “Teen Read” Summer Library Program. Here’s how the program works this year. You will be receiving a copy of the book we will be reading this summer, Code: A Virals Novel by Kathy Reichs and Brendan Reichs. We are excited about this book! This book is yours to keep. We will be meeting on the days and times listed below for roughly an hour to discuss what we have read and also to have a light snack. *Parents or guardians PLEASE make sure your child has transportation to and from this event! Also, we would like to have some parents volunteer to provide a small snack and drink on these nights, there will be a sign up sheet in the library or you can call the library at 297-7544 if you would like to sign up. Library staff will provide the snack the first night, and the library will provide the food for the pizza party at the end of the program.
Below is a list of the days and times we will be meeting at the library, and also the chapter breaks for Code: A Virals Novel that you will have to read for that meeting. This book has twists and turns, and we ask that you do not read ahead (or risk spoiling it for the other teens participating).
