Library News

**Schedule regarding Fish-n-Fun weekend!**
Montello Public Library will have limited parking/no parking in the days leading up to the event (May 1/2/3) and will be closed Friday May 4 and Saturday May 5 due to the carnival being in the lot. Early in the week, you may have to park elsewhere and walk down to see us. Following the event, possibly into Monday, there may also be limited parking while the carnival crew takes down the rides and gets us back to normal. Please plan accordingly! City Hall and Senior Center parking will also be affected during the setup and take down of the carnival.

**Summer Events**

We will have lots of events and programs in the coming months, and the schedule will be completed in a few weeks.

Watch for information regarding our County-Wide teen/adult summer reading program. We will be reading Michael Perry's book Population: 485, which is a book about small town, rural life in Auburn, Wisconsin.  Michael will also join us at Endeavor Public Library September 15, at 3pm (seats will be limited and each library will have a set amount of tickets available) for a talk and book signing. This event will be free to those registered and is sponsored by the County libraries, Literacy Volunteers-Marquette County, Friends of the Montello Public Library, and several other organizations (to be announced).

We will have reading programs for all ages, several performers for the kids this summer, and local talent providing programming with our theme "Libraries Rock!"

Please stop in and "check us out" soon!
